About
Jerrod Maruyama is a freelance artist specializing in illustration and character design. He earned a B.S. degree in Illustration from San Jose State University. Since then, he has worked as an Art Director for several educational software companies including Kaplan, SCORE!, Riverdeep and Computer Curriculum Corporation.
He is currently working full-time as a freelance illustrator from his home in Sacramento, CA. Some of his past clients include
Disney, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, Amazon Studios, Popskull, Mattel, FunChat, Gree, Spin Master, Hostess, The Wish Factory, Lisa Frank, Earnshaw’s, Baby Prodigy and Macmillan UK.
His work is currently being shown in The WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District (Anaheim, CA). See the portfolio page for more info. Prints and merchandise are available exclusively through the gallery.
